                                                 Joining of CB
Picture 1   On the last dc of the colour leave the last pull through so that you have 2 loops on the hook.
Picture 2   Place the slip knot on the hook.
Picture 3   Pull the slip knot through the 2 loops.
Puling the colour you’re not working with along
Picture 4   The colour you’re not working with you will place alongside your row and work over the thread pulling it along until you change colour and pick it up again.

                                           Changing Colour
Picture 5   On your last dc of the colour, leave the last pull through so that you have 2 loops on the hook. The colour you are pulling along should be at the bottom and the colour you are working with should be at the top.
Picture 6   Twist the wool taking the colour you are working with over so that the colour you were working with is at the bottom and the new colour you are working with is now at the top.
Picture 7   Pick up the new colour, wrap around and pull through the two loops. The new colour will now be on your hook and the top of your last st will still be the old colour.

                                             Picking up CB
Picture 8   Insert hook into the st closest to the thread.
Picture 9   Wrap the wool around and pull through to the front.
